Michael Holleran
Michael Holleran joined the School of Architecture faculty in fall 2006. He came from the University of Colorado College of Architecture and Planning, where he served as Associate Dean of Research, Associate Professor of Planning and Design, and Director of the Colorado Center for Preservation Research. He also taught in Architecture and Landscape Architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design. Holleran is currently working on a book about irrigation canals in the urban landscapes of the American West. He completed a statewide historic context report on canals and ditches for the Colorado State Historic Preservation Office, which will become a statewide Multiple Property nomination to the National Register of Historic Places.
