Randall M. Parker, PhD (University of Missouri at Columbia), is the Melissa Elizabeth Stuart Centennial Professor of Education, a Professor of Special Education, and the Director of Rehabilitation Counselor Education at the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, Division 22, Rehabilitation Psychology, and Division 17, Counseling Psychology, and a licensed psychologist in Texas. In addition, he received the School of Education Alumni Achievement Award from the University of Wisconsin-Madison; the College of Education Outstanding Faculty Award from the College of Education at the University of Texas at Austin; and the Distinguished Career in Research Award from the American Rehabilitation Counseling Association. He has published over 100 refereed articles, book chapters, book reviews, and journal editorials. He is a past Editor of the Rehabilitation Counseling Bulletin, Journal of Applied Rehabilitation Counseling, and Texas Psychologist. He is a past president of the American Rehabilitation Counseling Association and the Texas Psychological Association.
